Setting

Silverdust Castle

On the first night, everyone will find that map folded up, in their pockets - and, yes, it looks exactly as shown. Weird...

10 acres, 700 rooms...

So, put simply, it's huge. Hallways seem to stretch on forever, and it's very easy to get lost, even with help from the map. The staff (various maids and butlers) are all dressed in very similar clothing: all red and black suits and dresses, with gender not part of the equation in deciding between dress or suit, for some. Conversation with the maids and butlers might be... boring, for some. They all smile and nod and agree with/to almost anything that won't interrupt their work.

And the biggest problem is that their agreements eventually start to contradict themselves (e.g. one will apparently have the absolute favorite color of blue and pink, another will have the absolute favorite sport of hockey while also having no clue what sports even are). In other words, getting useful information from them about literally anything is, frankly, next to impossible. It's like trying to have a productive conversation with Siri or Alexa during their early stages of production.

The area everyone will be staying in is considerably small, by comparison. Presently, they can explore 20 bedrooms (with only variety in the form of two different colors), a living area/lounge, a dining area, an art studio, and a music room. This is all located on the ground floor:
BEDROOMS

Each bedroom is possibly big enough to fit an entire house's worth of furniture in there. Each one comes with a king-size bed, dresser, walk-in closet, large couch, recliner, and a long table with what looks to be a game of chess started by somebody else.

Both the dresser and closet of every room is empty, except for one suit and one dress (both inside the closet), matching the clothes of the maids and butlers.

LOUNGE

There's an open bar here, and there is access to both alcohol and cigars. The supplies are replenished at the start of each day (0600). There's enough room to comfortably fit roughly 30 people at a time. The only food that can be found here is pretzels and peanuts, but there's only enough to feed maybe 3 people per day.

DINING AREA

Dunno why you're even looking here, it's just a long table with 22 chairs. I mean, you could use this area to draw? Write?

... Ah, right, no writing utensils. Sad.

ART STUDIO

In spite of it being an art studio, the chances of finding anything to draw with are nonexistent. There are paints, there is clay (including a kiln the size of a walk-in closet), and even supplies for carving wood. Go wild!

MUSIC

This entire room seems big enough to fit three large houses inside, with room to spare...

A massive stage is set up on one half with crimson-colored curtains always drawn shut. The other half of the room has rows and rows of shelves and chairs, with literally any instrument located on at least one of the shelves. Music room doors are locked from 2200 to 0600, out of respect for those who wish to sleep at proper hours - as there is nothing soundproof about this place, for some reason.

Basement

If the characters earn their daily player point, they'll get access to the first basement level.
SHOWERS

This is pretty self-explanatory for the most part. There are random unlabeled bottles of body wash, shampoo, and conditioner, and the scent is activated by water. They are only allowed to pick one bottle at the counter upon entering the basement and they can't change their mind, come back, and pick a new one. So they better hope their luck is good that day! The three things (wash, shampoo, conditioner) come in matching sets or in mismatched sets - players are welcome to RNG for whether it's a matching set, and then roll for which scents their character wound up with. Or they can make up a nice combo or a terrible combo - it's all up to you guys.

Possible scents are:

1. Lavender
2. Lilies
3. Citrus
4. Sulfur
5. Cinnamon
6. Chocolate
7. Leather
8. Freshly Cut Grass
9. Sandalwood

There are single-use razors, combs, brushes, etc - but these things require additional DPPs! 1 additional DPP will get a travel set of items like this, and the player may mix-and-match up to five things for this additional DPP. Mods will not be keeping track of DPPs - this is simply an available option for challenging your characters into being more proactive. Handwaving is fine.

At no additional cost, towels, wash clothes, and thin robes are available to use (and keep, if they wish); it's one per person, given when and where they get the cleaning products from.

DRESSING ROOM

After they get clean, they can pick out an outfit to wear and keep. They may do laundry in the same room they shower in, but keeping up with their clothes is their responsibility. It's best not to find out what happens when clothes and whatnot are left strewn about.

FOOD STORAGE/KITCHEN

The food that's pictured above is what's available of dry foods (if a quantity is not listed, it's an item that's regularly restocked).

Freezer:

1. Various packs of ground meat
2. Single 15-pound Porterhouse steak
3. 32-pack of ham and cheese Hot Pockets
4. Frozen Waffles
5. 10 1-gallon containers of lowfat, sugar-free vanilla ice cream
6. Frozen microwavable "pigs in a blanket"

Fridge:

1. 3 pounds of sliced sharp cheddar
2. 2 gallons of strawberry yogurt
3. 2 pounds of sliced deli ham
4. 3 12-packs of ginger ale
5. Large pecan pie
6. Chicken parmigiana stromboli
7. Spreadable garlic white cheddar cheese
8. Ketchup
9. Deli Mustard
10. Miracle Whip
11. Sparkling Water

Silverdust Grounds

The Grounds seemingly stretch on for about a mile. Rows and rows of five-foot-tall hedges and three-foot-tall rose bushes surround the castle and are very clearly being taken care of. Whoever the groundskeeper is, however, nobody seems to know. All staff simply smile and say something along the lines of: of course the plants are well-cared-for. Why wouldn't they be? Everything is as it should be. None of them have anything to complain about for a reason.

On the bright side, an Olympic-sized swimming pool (shaped about like this) is in the backyard - and it's heated. On the downside, it's very clearly winter (with the temperature 'highs' running somewhere around -12°C), so getting out of the water might be... uncomfortable.

And given there are no towels and there is no swimwear to change into, well...

There's a road that leads into what appears to be a thick forest that solidly stretches about three-quarters of a mile away from the castle. By about a mile out, the road appears to completely vanish into the trees.

Exploration is heavily encouraged (at least, on an OOC basis); as characters explore, more areas might become accessible.
